1st Trip to Canton!

Alex did amazingly well last night. She went to sleep at 11 and slept until 6:30, ate, then went back to sleep until 8. When she woke up she was so happy and smiley so I woke Nomi so she could enjoy my sweet baby girl. Nomi got in bed with us and we just watched Alex for the longest time. She ate again then went back to sleep until 10! I got up and showered while Nomi and Aunt Pam took Alex out on the porch to enjoy the fresh air.

After everyone showered we were off to Canton. It was so crowded and hot! There were people everywhere. Josh would have hated it. People seem to lose all common sense when in large crowded spaces. People just stop for no reason causing you to bump into them. Alex did ok for awhile, then she started getting so hot. Nomi had to hold her and look for the coolest places so she would calm down. We didn't stay too long.





My only goal was to find a camo onesie for Alex to wear to our work cook off in 3 weeks. Our teams theme is "Backyard Buffet" so think redneck. Here is what I found!!!


After we left we stopped at a little taco stand that has the best tacos ever! I know I am at my parents house. For some reason when I'm here I snack all day and eat like crap. My diet today has consisted of chocolate chip cookies and OJ for breakfast, 2 tacos, a handful of peanut M&M's and a half of a coconut fried pie. The pie was soooo good! We have more flavors for later!

Alex is going to be so spoiled when we get home. She napped in Nomi's arms for the second day in a row.
