Our sweet baby girl decided it sounded like much more fun on the outside than the inside, so on July 9th (33 days before her due date) around 3am she decided it was time to get the party started! Our beautiful daughter made her grand entrance on July 9, 2008 at 3:44pm. At 5 pounds, 12 ounces and 19.5 inches long, she was a tiny little thing!
Our family was now complete!
She spent 4 long days in the hospital, but on July 13th, we got to bring our baby girl home to meet her big furry brother, Cooper!
From her first day home, she slept each night in her crib.
It's hard to remember her being this tiny!
Month 1 was just surreal. Since she made an early appearance, we weren't 100% ready for her, but our family and friends were here to pick up the last few things we needed! I think we spent the entire month just looking at her.
In August, we got some very special visitors. Ito and Ita (my grandparents) came down for a couple of hours to meet their great granddaughter.
The first month was filled with lots of sleeping, eating, snuggling and sleeping some more! We also had a few doctors appointments to check jaundice levels. The jaundice finally cleared and everything was great!!!
