Silly Faces!

Alex has started making the silliest faces when she gets excited, which happens all the time. Every time I go in her room to get her up from a nap or in the morning, she gives me this huge smile with her eyes squished closed. She now does it when I get the camera out! I love that silly little girl!

ok, I'm about to show you what a scaredy cat I am. I was on my way out to check the mail, I stepped on to the porch and stopped dead in my tracks. There was a snake in the flower bed to the right of the sidewalk. I quickly got back inside and closed the door. Poor Cooper was confused because he was going out the door with me and I suddenly rushed him back inside. I hate hate hate snakes. Good thing I didn't have a boy! I watched it through the front window and the darn thing wouldn't move. It was kinda pretty so I grabbed the camera. I couldn't get a pic from through the window so I stepped back on the porch, zoomed in on the camera and reached my arms as far as they would go so I didn't have to get any closer. It finally went away but I'm still worried it is lingering around so I'll have Josh check the mail when he gets some.

Mom, don't look at this, I know how much you hate snakes and you will just worry about me being outside with Alex...so I won't even go into detail about the HUGE one I saw slivering across the yard one day.

Here is the big scary snake. (it was about a foot and a half long and maybe half an inch in diameter, I know, tiny, but still it gave me the heebie jeebies!)
