Big D!

We had such a great time in Dallas this weekend! We drove up Saturday and Alex was perfect! She fell asleep in her car seat as soon as I put her in it, before she was even in the car. She slept the entire way and woke up when we got into Grapevine. Josh and I went out for dinner and drinks Saturday while Grandma and Grandpa watched Alex. She still refused the bottle! I thought she would take it since we weren't there, but no such luck. She went to sleep at 9, woke up at 11, then went back to sleep. When we got back, she started moving around a bit so I fed her since I knew it had been several hours since she had eaten.

Today we had breakfast with Terri, Ray and Gram P. We are so excited they are all coming in a couple of days (4 to be exact) to spend Thanksgiving with us! After breakfast Josh and I took Alex to Ito and Ita's so they could love on her!

From there we drove out to McKinney to see my girlfriend Amy and her brand new baby girl! Sylvia Marlous Lackey was born Wednesday, November 19th! She is so beautiful! She is just so tiny! It's hard to remember Alex being that small and it was just 4 months ago!

I felt GREAT this weekend! Friday was a really bad night for my RA. I went to the movies and was in so much pain by the end of the movie. I was worried about sitting in the car for 3 hours but it turned out to be ok. Saturday evening and all day today, I felt amazing! No pain at all! I am hoping this will last a while, we'll see!

Being in Dallas this weekend made me realize how much I miss living there. I miss being to close to Terri and Ray, Ito and Ita and of course, all of our friends. I also miss all the great places to eat! We ate at Babe's today, it was just as good as I had remembered.

I am looking forward to Josh's 3 day work week! Terri, Ray and Gram P are coming down on Thursday and staying through Saturday. Sometime on Saturday we are heading to east Texas to see Nomi and Popi! My sister, Laith, Hudson and Isabella are in town from California so we are hoping we get to see them while we are at Nomi's but it is going to be a busy weekend so I'm not sure if it will work out!
