Babes on the Move

The days are getting a little crazier. Both babies are officially on the move (and have been for a little while), but they are gaining speed now! Alex is fast, Abby is a little slower, but usually following Alex around where ever she goes. They are pretty darn cute together.

They both follow me in the kitchen at "feeding time" and I've learned, I HAVE to feed them at the same time (solids and bottles) because the one who isn't eating will cry if they don't get it too. Abby is a sympathetic crier, if Alex is crying, Abby will cry with her. Alex, not so much, if Abby is crying, Alex just goes about her business.

Last night we went to the James' for dinner and the guys played games. Alex was way off from her normal bedtime schedule. She stayed up until 9:30!!! I tried putting her down twice and she screamed her head off so I ended up letting her get up and play. She adores their dog, Rascal. He's a little yorkie and just her size. I took her home around 10:30 and she ended up waking up did not want to sleep when we got home. I put her in bed with me and my sweet little baby snuggled up to me and fell asleep. When Josh got home, I put her in her crib and she cried, so he had to rock her back to sleep.

Alex has regained her love for Cooper. She always has to look for him if he's not in sight.

Sometimes he just needs a break from grubby little mitts pulling his fur!

Anytime he is on the couch, she crawls over to him and tugs the fur on his tail.

He usually gets off the couch and moves away from her. Smart boy!

New love, the diaper box. It's the perfect height for her to practice pulling up,

then she can also take a little break and lean on it while she plays.

I recently moved the recliner out of the living room to make a little play corner for Alex. She and Abby love sitting by the window in their corner playing with toys. (No, they are not wearing the same outfit, just very similar, happened completely by accident!)
