Nomi Visit and Updates

Nomi came to visit us! We had a blast with her. As soon as she walked in the door, Alex crawled over to her and put her arms up so she could pick her up. She loves her Nomi! We spent Friday getting some new plants for our front flower beds. Nomi was great enough to plant them for us while Alex hung out on a blanket, I trimmed some shrubs and Cooper "supervised." We always love hanging out with Nomi, usually after Alex goes to bed we play cards. Too bad Nomi lost...BAD...every single game! We are looking forward to several weekends at home! Next weekend is a big one for us...Josh's 31st birthday is Friday and my first Mother's day is Sunday then the following weekend Grandma and Grandpa are coming to visit! I love when people come to see us!
Alex updates: still one tooth, but the other bottom one is going to pop up any day now! She is back on a schedule, 2 decent naps every day! Woo hoo!!! Her bedtime is slowly moving back to 7 and she is sleeping 12 hours a night. The past 2 weeks or so she has been waking up in the middle of the night, I think it is due to teething pains. If I go in her room and rock her for a couple of minutes and put her back in her crib, she goes right back to sleep. It only happens every 3 days or so. She will wave bye bye (sometimes) and knows who her mommy and daddy are. If we say Mama or Dada, she will look at the right person or if that person is holding her, she will pat them. She plays peekaboo. If she has a blanket she will cover her face then move it when I say boo and she will keep doing it and doing it. She LOVES playing with the receiver for the TV. She knows if she turns the knob, it will turn the sound off on the TV. She will turn the knob and look up at the TV then keep turning it and looking up at the TV. We used to move her away from it but she would immediately crawl back to it and just keep turning the knob. We've learned, if we let her turn it for a minute or two, she looses interest and moves on so we just let her play with it.

What can I say? That is one PRECIOUS baby!! I know J&Josh get tired of me always saying how cute, sweet, best, etc, etc that baby is but they'll have to get used to it!!! I love that baby! She is so much more in person than J can blog!! Aunt Jodi always likes to hear stories about her too. LOVE THAT LITTLE PUNKIN!
