Alex and I drove to Dallas Monday afternoon. We had a super fun, busy 24 hours! We headed straight to NorthPark to meet my friend, Josh. I haven't seen him in years and it was great to catch up. Alex loved him and asked non stop where, "mommy's friend, Josh" was, not to be confused with "my Josh, Daddy" as Alex started calling her Daddy-o! From there we went to visit Shannon, or Aunt Shan, as Alex called her. We got to visit for a while, then we went to the dinner and did a little more shopping at the Galleria. Then we went to visit my grandparents, Shannon's parents, then made it back to Shannon and Neal's to crash!
Tuesday morning, we met Amy and Wendy, along with their kids, Sylvia, Collin and Graham at the arboretum. It was beautiful! The kids loved looking at all of the castles. They had face painters there so Alex picked a purple butterfly, then we had a little picnic. It was a great day with friends!
