our first shower!

We had such a great weekend! Our friends hosted a couples shower for us Saturday afternoon. My parents came in town Friday evening and we went to dinner. Josh's parents showed up Saturday morning and we all hung out a bit. Then we headed over to the shower. There were about 20 people there. We had such a good time. The food was wonderful, I think I had something to eat in my hands at all times! :) We have such amazing friends. We got a ton of stuff from our registries. We were so shocked at how generous everyone was. As soon as we got home I was soo excited to open everything and hang up all of the adorable clothes she got. I keep going in her closet just to look at everything we have in there.

We spent all day Sunday doing absolutely nothing. We stayed in our PJ's most of the day and got caught up on all of the shows we had tivo'd. It was exactly what we needed. The only time we left the house was to go get ice cream!

Alex's movements slowed down a bit last week, but she picked back up over the weekend. She gets the hiccups at least twice a day, sometimes more. It feels so crazy. After the shower, I was relaxing on the couch at Tracy & Katie's and she started kicking really hard. Katie and Krystle could see my stomach bouncing from across the room! Only 9 more weeks! I can't wait!
