whew...what a weekend

ok, so maybe it should just say, what a Sunday. Saturday was nice and relaxing. I went to see the new Sex and the City movie with some girlfriends then Josh and I just relaxed pretty much the rest of the day.

Sunday, now that was a different story. We woke up around 6:15 to Coopie making the "I'm about to throw up" noises so Josh jumped out of bed and ran to take him outside. I let him in about 5 minutes later. We all got back in bed and tried going back to sleep...then Coop started again so Josh got up again to run him outside. At that point he decided he was wide awake so he stayed up. I told him I'd get up at 7. When I got up around 7 we had breakfast then we finished washing the windows, which Josh had started the day before. After we were done, we put mulch down in the front flower beds. Then we had to rush to get ready. Tracy and Katie were picking us up at 11ish to go to the outlet mall near Houston. So we spent a few hours walking around the mall, boy was it HOT! I ended up getting a diaper bag (picture above!) I had seen it a few months ago but couldn't really decided if I wanted that one or if I wanted to keep looking. I found another one that possibly matched her stroller, but I never found it in the store so I wasn't 100% sure. So while we were at the mall I showed Josh the 2 I originally liked. He said big fat no to one of them because it was an aqua blue color and he thought it looked too boyish. Then he saw this one and said I could get it, which I guess meant he liked it. So, I finally have a diaper bag! We also got a cute little bunny that giggles and vibrates (also pictured above.) It was just too cute!

Cooper's "Aunt Linda" gave us a baby gift when we saw her. It is an adorable octopus that plays songs and his legs have buttons in them that each play a different note so you can play other songs. I tried a few and unfortunately, I'm not too musical; Josh on the other hand was great so I guess he will be playing the music for Alex!

After shopping we killed a few hours driving around. We had dinner plans at 6 in Houston. We went to Fogo de Chao with Josh's managers and their wives. I decided I wasn't going to eat too much since my stomach didn't feel normal. I think that was due to the braxton hicks contractions I had earlier in the day. Well, when they start bringing all sorts of meat to the table, it's hard to say no. Needless to say, I didn't. I stopped eating when I felt full...then we ordered dessert. Bad idea! The longer I sat there, the more time the food had to settle. By the time we left, I was having more contractions and my stomach was just plain hurting. By the time we got home, I was feeling better, but I was still full this morning if that gives you any idea of how much we ate! No more Fogo for me...for a while anyways!

Well, I just noticed my belly button is almost flat now. hmmm, I wonder if it will freak Josh out. Before today, if I stood in a certain position my belly button would flatten out and he would make me move so it would go back to normal. With 10 more weeks to go, I'm sure my belly button will end up popping!
